On Dec. 31, 2008 we will be offering the inaugural run of our New Year’s Eve train and the ultimate overnight package! The train will depart the Santa Fe Depot at 9:30 pm for a 3 hour round trip ride and a delicious three- course gourmet dinner, entertainment, and a champagne toast at midnight. Our deluxe package includes one night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs, transportation from the hotel to the train and return by private coach, train, dinner, entertainment, and champagne. Ultimate New Year’s Eve Package with Lodging, Double - Including deluxe accommodations at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs (double occupancy), coach transportation to the train depot and return, train ride, dinner, entertainment, and champagne toast.
$229.00 per adult.

New Year’s Package - Train Only – Includes the train ride, dinner, entertainment, and champagne toast.
$129.00 per adult.

Itinerary:

The evening’s itinerary for those who choose to include the lodging and transportation package will be:

• Check into your hotel room after 3pm on New Year’s Eve.

• Meet your driver and board your private coach at the hotel at 7:00 pm.
• Driver will depart the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 7:15 pm for Canon City.
• Guests will arrive at the Santa Fe Depot in Canon City at approximately 8:30 pm to pick up train tickets and visit the railroad gift shop.
• Guests will begin boarding the train at approximately 9:10 pm.
• The train will depart the depot at 9:30 pm and dinner will commence as we begin our leisurely ride through the Royal Gorge.
• As midnight approaches a glass of champagne or sparkling cider will be served for the count down to 2008.
• The train will return to the depot at 12:30 am where coach transportation will be waiting to return you to your hotel.
